MY PATH

I am an ANGEL THERAPY PRACTITIONER® and Certified Medium, certified by author Doreen Virtue, Ph.D. In working with the angels, I believe that I am merely a messenger and facilitator of healing. This means that the angels do the real work. It is entirely possible for anyone to access their angels and divine guidance (or intuition) with some awareness, practice, and intention. I’m grateful to share this work and my own path with you here.

I am an Indigo Lightworker with a mission to inspire others. After some life challenges, I’ve decided to learn my lessons through fun, love, and joy. I have an “Outer Child”! So, I enjoy bringing laughter to others. Being connected to our childlike self assists us in finding what brings us joy as adults, especially when it comes to our life purpose. In childhood, we are most connected to our creativity, an aspect of our right brain. In our right brain resides our intuition and psychic ability. Everyone is psychic, gifted, beautiful, creative, and full of light. Sometimes, we get so busy in our adult life, we forget about the treasures of our childhood, needing help in reclaiming our magical natures. This is where I enjoy helping others’ most, so I tend to specialize in life purpose-related readings. I also enjoy working with the New Children (Indigo, Crystal, and Rainbow Children) and their parents.

I have a deep respect for others’ spiritual and personal beliefs, with a deep admiration for the diversity we share. I do not believe in one particular religious path. I consider myself to be deeply spiritual. For me, spirituality is about finding your center or inner truth while being of service to others in some way.

Everyone comes to his or her own spiritual path in different ways. Life is a journey or a process. The path often is revealed in a step-by-step fashion. I myself have had a few 180-degree turns. So, I feel a personal mission to help others uncover their joyful purposes.

I’ll share some of my path to inspire you. I earned a degree in political science in 1994 at the University of Michigan, with an intention to go to law school soon after. I worked as a legal assistant for a while, but it didn’t bring me joy. Then, I worked in a bookstore for a while and I became intrigued by holistic health and healing practices. In 1998, I enthusiastically started massage therapy school. After receiving certification as a massage therapist, I went on to two more years of advanced studies. I worked in the field almost five years.

During the process of working in the massage field, I became very comfortable with my intuition. It was a coming home for me! I have been intuitive all of my life, but I just didn’t know what to call it. I felt very different from others most of my life, but I became more comfortable in my own skin.

Ironically, my massage work evolved into me going on my own journey of healing. Prior to beginning massage school in 1998, I was diagnosed with Chronic Fatigue Syndrome (CFS). I was pretty physically ill for quite some time. I changed every aspect of my life. I turned to a more natural approach of healing utilizing supplements, bodywork, and other mind-body-spirit approaches. Today, I have recovered from CFS. I am grateful to have a new lease on life!

Massage school facilitated my studies of spirituality and energy work. Towards the end of my first year of massage school, I became more aware of the angelic realm. I have a tendency to doodle in my notebook as I take notes in class (while listening to the teacher, of course). One day, I started to write down some things that did not feel as though they came from me. I soon realized that it was my angels communicating with me. It felt so wonderful, joyful, and loving. I knew it was positive.

Ever since my first encounter with the angels, I have become more conscious of how they work with me. I noticed them while working on massage clients during sessions, getting instructions from them on how to approach clients, including which techniques to use. It has been so humbling to work as a facilitator of healing, detaching myself from the outcome while allowing the angels to do the actual work.

Eventually, the demands of doing manual labor for a living became too much with my repetitive use injuries. I rehabilitated my injuries and I am fine today, but I had to re-evaluate my work life. I believe today that the angels wanted me to pursue a different career path, so my injuries happened for a reason (everything seems to, even though it may not make sense right away).

After I rehabilitated my injuries from my massage career, I realized that I had a passion for teaching others about spiritual concepts. I also enjoyed giving angel readings to others. After some self-exploration, I decided to take Dr. Doreen Virtue’s ANGEL THERAPY PRACTITIONER® course in the fall of 2005 in Laguna Beach, California. It was a life-changing experience that has been a catalyst for many miracles and healing in my life. I was blessed in November 2006 to return to Laguna Beach, taking Mediumship with Doreen—it was equally inspiring and wonderful.
